Many people have been asking about the Virus VST and when or if it will be available. Well, when people say "Virus VST" they are refering to the softsynth version of course. The answer is...they don't appear to be making Virus VST that works without any kind of hardware. They have however introduced the Access Virus TI Snow Virtual Analog Desktop Synth which is a combination of hardware and software. I have not tried out this synth since...well...i can't afford it. However, it is reasonably priced in comparison to the purely hardware versions of the virus synth and features still look as impressive. Until I get the chance to try it out for myself check out the zzounds website for a full review of the features.
